EW2002 in numbers
- Though named "European", the EW2002 conference has received
attention from all over the world. 221 papers, from 25 different
countries in 5 continents, have been submitted.
- 152 papers have been accepted for presentation in the conference and
publication in the proceedings. Among these, 18
have been selected for journal
publication.
- 246 participants have been welcomed to EW2002.
Among many worthy competitors, the following two students have been selected
for the Best Student Paper Awards:
Daniela Tuninetti, for the paper "The long-term average
capacity region per unit energy with application to protocols for sensor networks",
by D. Tuninetti, G. Caire, Institut Eurécom, France
Rami Mukhtar, for the paper "Packet Latency for
Type-II Hybrid ARQ Transmissions over a Correlated Error Channel", by
R. Mukhtar, M. Zukerman, F. Cameron, The University of Melbourne, Australia
