Submission instructions of camera-ready version of papers

Authors of accepted papers are required to prepare the camera-ready manuscript as a PDF file, following the IEEE single-space, two-column format using at least 10 point size type. The paper must be correctly formatted to fit on U.S. "letter" size page (8.5" x 11") with at least 1" margins on all 4 sides. Full-length papers should not exceed 6 pages. For each additional page (maximum 2), a 150USD charge is applied.

Camera-ready manuscripts must be uploaded to EDAS by July 18, 2008, 11:59pm EDT. By the same date, authors are moreover requested to send an e-mail to  with attached their final paper (PDF format), contact addresses, telephone number, fax number, and e-mail addresses (text format).

In order for the paper to be included in the conference proceedings, it is mandatory that at least one of the authors registers to MASS 2008 with a full registration (i.e., non-student) status, by July 18, 2008. A paper without registered authors past July 18, 2008 will be withdrawn.

The registration fee covers the publication of only one paper. A registered author with multiple papers appearing in the conference and/or workshop proceedings must pay an additional publication fee for each additional paper. Registration plus publication fee for additional paper(s) is required for multiple papers to be included in conference proceedings. Submission instructions for peer review (outdated)

All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another workshop, conference, or journal.

All submissions must be full papers in PDF format, and must be formatted according to the standard IEEE Computer Society 8.5" x 11" page, two-column format. Papers are restricted to a maximum length of six (6) pages, including text, figures, references, and appendices. Detailed formatting instructions, as well as IEEE Latex and Microsoft Word style files, are available at http://www.computer.org/portal/pages/cscps/cps/cps_forms.html.

Papers must be submitted electronically to EDAS by May 24, 2008, 11:59pm EST. Submission implies the willingness of at least one author to attend the workshop and present the paper. As per standard policy, there is no workshop-only or workshop-specific registration. All authors and attendees must register for the MASS conference at the full conference rate, which include the ability to attend any and all workshops.

Accepted papers will be included in the main proceedings of IEEE MASS 2008 and published by the IEEE.
