Pisa is easy to
reach either by airplane, tanks to the presence of
“Galileo
Galilei International Airport”,
served by 22 airlines operating 360 weekly flights to 47
national and international destinations (Summer 2006),
where numerous companies offer charter and low cost
flights to a number of European and non-European
destinations, or by train or
buses from the main Italian city,
The engineering
“aula magna”, were the conference will be hosted, is very
closed to the railway station and to the “Piazza dei
Miracoli”.
Once at the airport, the central station can be reached either by bus (lam ROSSA)
or by train (the rail station is just outside the airport). The faculty of Engineering can be easily reached with bus (linea 5 and linea ROSSA), as well the conference administration.
